Richard M. Waugaman, M.D., is Training and Supervising Analyst, Emeritus at the Washington Psychoanalytic Institute. He is also Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at Georgetown University, where he has been a volunteer faculty member for forty years. He was one of Georgetown’s Faculty Experts on Shakespeare for Media Contacts from 2012 to 2016.
He majored in Philosophy and received his A.B. from Princeton University in 1970. His M.D. was from Duke University School of Medicine in 1973.
